WRITING

I write for film (included one produced and two optioned feature screenplays), TV (multiple seasons of paranormal "factual" series) and fiction. Horror is the genre I'm naturally drawn to - historical horror in particular.

Below are links to some of my published fiction. I'm also querying a completed historical-horror-action novel set in the monster-haunted forests of Roman-era Germany. More info to come!

"FORTY MILES TO HELL"
SHORT FICTION

When Pinkerton agent Henry Solms is hired to track down a mysterious Easterner's lost possessions, he discovers an ancient evil hiding in Nevada's Forty Mile Desert.

Published in Timber Ghost Press' anthology of weird western horror Along Harrowed Trails.

"THINGS ARE PRETTY MUCH THE SAME EVERYWHERE" SHORT FICTION

At the end of a lonely country road, Pius and his drinking buddy Donny discover something horrible growing in the ground; a festering, cankerous wound. Not only is it spreading, but it's worked its way into Pius' head...

Included in the Dark Nature Anthology, a collection of environmental horror stories, published by Macabre Ladies.

"PRIME MOVER" SHORT FICTION

After Arlene takes her big rig for one last run, something follows her home from a misty truckstop parking lot...

My "gritty and powerful" horror short story "Prime Mover" appears in issue #129 of Aurealis Magazine. One reviewer described is as, "A fun, yet emotional romp through the life of a trucker (thrown into an 80s movie plot)."

Review of Aurealis #129 by Mike Wyant Jr.
